These terms apply to the invite-only Budget Guide account-based beta operated by Paper Boy Studios.

The service

Budget Guide helps you organize information, compare monthly patterns, learn general concepts, and create an editable plan. You remain responsible for verifying every fact and deciding whether to act. We do not move money, change accounts, guarantee savings, predict investment returns, repair credit, determine benefits eligibility, or replace a qualified professional.

Your account and household

Use accurate account information, protect your password, and use a separate login for each adult. Share only the facts you intend to make visible to a household. Do not use the service to access another person’s financial information without their permission. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscriptions

The public manual calculator remains free. The saved private workspace and automated features require Budget Guide Plus or an authorized complimentary grant. Eligible new customers receive three days of Plus access free. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected monthly or annual subscription then begins charging at the price shown in checkout and renews until canceled. Checkout accepts payment cards and may also offer Apple Pay or Google Pay when supported by the customer’s device and browser. You can manage or cancel through the membership screen or contact support. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves access through the current trial or paid period.

Refunds and billing problems

If a charge is incorrect or the service did not work as represented, contact us promptly at paperboystudiosco@gmail.com. We review refund requests fairly and provide any refund required by applicable law. A chargeback, refund, expiration, or failed renewal may remove paid access without deleting your export, disconnect, support, or deletion controls.

Connected accounts

Account linking is optional and subject to your institution’s and Plaid’s terms. Availability, data freshness, categories, and historical coverage vary. You must review the imported draft. We may pause new connections or syncing for security, provider, legal, or operational reasons while preserving disconnect and deletion paths.

Acceptable use

Do not probe another account, bypass access controls, upload malware, automate abusive traffic, scrape private areas, misrepresent identity, or use the service for unlawful activity. We may limit or suspend access to protect customers and the service.

Availability and liability

The beta may change, experience interruptions, or contain mistakes. Keep your own records and export important plans. To the extent allowed by law, Paper Boy Studios is not responsible for decisions made from unverified information, provider outages, or indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
